It should have come with several different nozzles. The siphon will only work with the low pressure one. It is usually black, and will have a larger opening compared with the others. Use this one to apply whatever you are siphoning, then switch back to one of the others to rinse.

Hope this helps.

The only filter on the detergent pickup is usually at the end of the hose you drop into the detergent. To clean the line and syphon attachment only requires a little pressurized air to blow out any debris that may be in the line. Make sure you are using the black, soap tip on the pressure gun when trying to use the detergent syphon system. If you are using any of the high pressure tips there will be too much back pressure in the line for the syphon to work.

Cleaner will not syphon from bottle

Siphon only works on low pressure. Put low pressure tip on wand to get it working right. All other tips will not allow fluids to flow out fast enough to build siphon pressure / draw.

The water is syphoning out the drain hose.
Many times when the stand pipe is backing up someone will seal the washer drain hose to the pipe to avoid overflow of the stand pipe.
This causes the water to syphon from the washer.

Or the opening for the stand pipe is just big enough to put the drain hose in and is to tight causing the syphon.

Putting the drain hose to far down the pipe can cause a syphon also.

The washer drains its self will filing up on the rinse cigle

Suspect water syphoning out , raise drain hose , pull out of standpipe a little and fit ant-syphon device if that is problem

Water continuously runs and cycle won't start. The washer tub doesn't seem to be filling with any water.

Probably a syphon problem . Check your drain hose to make sure hose is not stuffed too far down drain and air can get between the hose and the drain pipe . If you have tapped the hose to the drain to keep water from comming out the drain pipe , go to home depot or an appliance parts house , and get a syphon break . When a washer fills , but water level doesn't rise in the machine , it's being sucked out by syphoning thru your sewer pipe .

Kenmore Elite HE3 Washer fabric dispenser not working

This is usually just as simple as adjusting the syphone up and down. releveling your machine or cleaning the dispenser itself. when the water enters the dispenser gravity syphones the water out . nothing really machanical about it. unless the water is not filling up the cup enough to go above the max line. you can test it by putting water in the dispenser above the max line and adjusting the syphone cap up and down.this should grab a suction.

LF code on fill. Seems like water is pumping out as fast as it comes in. What do I replace?

I'm not sure if this will help or not. Check the drain hose. Make sure that at part of the drain hose loops above the the machine. There is always a possiblility when the hose is not high enough it will start to syphon the water out.

Frigidaire Gallery washer is flooding the house

Try turning water faucets off. Does it still flood when done? Does your drain hose empty into stand pipe that is at least 30 inches from floor? Make sure drain hose does not go anymore than a few inches into pipe. If it is pushed too far in, unit can syphon water back into unit.
