When you tourn on the super chlorinate button, does it turn itself off?

To properly start up the system, add the salt, let circulate for 6 hrs then turn on the generator. running with extremely low salt can damage the unit. you will need a minimum salt reading of 4000 ppm with the duoclear.
when you activate the superchlorinate feature, the electrode will run at 100% for 24 hrs and then revert to the regular programmed level.

My pool is cloudy and I added clarifier and it still won't clear. I checked the salt count and it's reading 1100 ppm. We have a 15 foot round 48 inch deep pool. I also shock the pool weekly...

1st... Your salt count should be at 3000 ppm... For your size pool, the start-up salt needed should be about 95 to 110 lbs..
2nd... Run your pump for 24 hrs without the chlorinator after you have reached the 3000 ppm to properly disolve the salt and use only "pool salt"
3rd... Set your pump at 12 hrs and your chlorinator at 10 to 11 of those hrs until you have reached the desired chlorine level.
4th.. After your pool water has cleared, within 2 to 3 days...clean your chlorinator electrolytic cell and adjust your time down to maintain the proper chlorine level..

Hope this helps and if it does, please rate and comment....
Good Luck!!!

WE ADDED FOUR 40 LB BAGS TO 18 X48 EASY SET POOL AND STARTED UP THE SALT WATER CHLORINATOR THE NEXT DAY . THE CODE FOR HIGH SALT CAME UP. WHAT SHOULD I DO? ALSO WHEN THE CODES POP UP DOES THE CHLORINATOR...

Hello,
Start buy draining 20% of your water and adding fresh.
Filter normal for about 12 hours.
Now test your salt PPM
You can get a salt test kit at any pool supply
you want your salt ppm to be as close to 3000 as possible
any lower than 2700 and you will not produce enough sanitizer and over 3500 can produce high salt code, just taste bad, and ruin your cells in the unit
As for not working, yes the unit will not function properly with any code that comes up

How can i tell if the chlorinator is working on my intex pump. i pluged it in inputed hours to run and working led is on but i dont hear any noise from the pump it self. no low, high salt indicator. no...

Turn up the setting ... if the CL is reading 0 then you aren't making any CL. Your salt is at 3400 ppm? And you determined this how? Does your generator test for salt content?

If you are using your pool, I suggest you start by introducing some powered CL to get the level to 2 to 4 PPM while you monitor the operation of your generator.

No warning code, green light on but no chlorine produced???????

make sure your ppm is at least 3000 low salt may not trigger an alarm but is not sufficient for generating chlorine

also make sure you are running the generator for at least 4-6 hours to give the chlorine time to register

the system itself blows out very minute amounts of chlorine but build up after hours of being on
