Fixing your problem could be as simple as cleaning the battery contacts in the camera, or the solution could be a lot more complex and expensive. Here's a link to the Kodak Help Center - it provides a simple Q&A format to diagnose the problem and propose a solution.

this sounds like you may have a short from the battery to the board.
check the contacts on the phone at the battery to make sure they are not clogged or have any mark that may be causing them to not get a good contact from the battery.

Sorry, this sounds like a bad battery, pull the battery and take it to your local auto parts store. They will check your car battery for free.

When we try to start the car the head lights and interior lights flicker and there is a clunking sound instead of the normal sound of the starter motor turning over?

It might be the battery Or starter, But try to jump it and if it start then you need a battery and if not, Well your started is going bad . Hope its the battery

You can check 2 things. 1., have someone in the car to turn the key to the start position. Tap the starter with a small hammer and see if it cranks. If it does, replace the starter. 2., have the battery tested as well as the connections to the battery. Corrosion builds and can cause heavy resistance to heavy loads(like starting). These are the 2 most likely causes. Let me know if you need further assistance.

E-850 Digital Camera does not operate after turning on button

Was it impacted in some way or was it exposed to sand, water, or dirt?
Any of these can seriously damage the lens system.
This camera probably needs to have repairs.
