I love this heater but now after a few seconds of running it shuts itself down. Im wondering if there is too much dust or something that is causing it to overload the heat sensor? Its level on the...

I would definitly try to give your heater a through cleaning before before giving up on it. Remove screws that hold back cover on and remove cover. There shoulb be a fiter directly behind it,remove it and give it a through cleaning. I don't know on the new ones if the filter is made of foam material, the older ones like mine are.It is safe to wash them in warm water and a little dish soap. Rinse fully and pat dry. Clean any lint, hair, dust or any other foreign material from fan motor. Blow it out with compressed air if you can. You can use a tooth brush to clean around motor shaft and air ports on motor. You can use a couple of drops of fine grade machine oil on motor shaft, such as 3 in 1 oil or WD-40. Wipe off excess. Lightly brush heating elements and reassemble. I hope this works for you. Thanks We had our first pelonis disc heater for twenty years.

I have a small Truck Camper and want an electric

One of those small ceramic units is compact and would do the job for a truck camper. They have fans built in and are pretty quiet. They are cheap and don't take up valuable space. I would look in a BigLots or close out type store.
