Re: i can't access or open any yahoo mail account on this...
Your account may be locked for security reasons
This happens because somebody tried to make a large amount of attempts to guess your password and enter your account. Many times, it's not actually someone trying to access the account, they just know that by sending a huge amount of requests, they can cause the user problems by having their account closed. The servers understand that a human can make about 5 or 6 attempts a minute, this would be normal if you had forgotten your password or made a typo etc... and at this rate, it would take 18011 years to guess your password. An automated program however, could make 1000s of requests a minute or even more! Its when the server experiences these numbers, for your own security, it locks your account. Fix: First, visit http://login.yahoo.com/config/login Don't Worry! The first attempt will fail, say incorrect password or something. It's the second attempt that matters. What you will see this time, is that you have a word verification. This is a secure system by which only humans could be making the request, bots cannot see the text, they see encrypted numbers. For some, this is it, the account will log in again! For others, it's not so. You have to wait up to 48hrs for the account to come back.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Fix Yahoo Email When It Won't Open Attachments
Mail is a popular webmail service that allows people to create their own email
username and have it hosted by the Yahoo network.
In addition to providing fast and reliable email, Yahoo Mail
also allows you to send and receive large attachments.
If you use Yahoo Mail, and are having issues opening
attachments, there are several easy troubleshooting steps you can try to get
your Yahoo Mail attachments.
Sign out of Yahoo and clear your cache.
Since Yahoo! needs to access your cache to keep you logged
in and to communicate with your computer when downloading attachments, a full
cache can prevent Yahoo Mail from opening attachments correctly.
Go to your browser's "Tools" or "Internet
Options" menu and then select the "Delete Temporary Internet
files" command to delete your cache.
Reload the page.
lf you have had Yahoo Mail open for a long time, the page
may have gone idle, and you may not be able to access your attachment.
Press the "Reload" (F5) button and then log back
in to your account.
Ensure that the attachment is not corrupt.
If the sender did not finish uploading before they hit
"Send" or there was an error during the upload, the file may be
Ask the sender to re-attach the file and send it again.
Check the file format.
Some formats are proprietary and will not open unless
specific programs are installed on your computer.
For instance, if you are sent an AAC file, you will not be
able to open it unless iTunes is installed on your computer.

Actually, the problem is not with your email account, but with your internet browser unable to full access Yahoo.
Two possible fix to your problem, but it requires an hour to fix your email account.
First, whatever internet browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) clear all caches, remove all cookies and clear everything in your browsing history. This should be done in the TOOLS menu of your internet browser. Then, access again Yahoo and log in.
Second, if the first fix do not work, use alternate internet browser to access your Yahoo mail account. If you do not want to use different browser, I recommend you uninstall it, download an upgrade version and install it to your system.
The next time you access Yahoo mail, it will be successful.
Type search www.yahoo.com to arrive at the mail providers website. Once at the display interface, observe the mail logos that allows to display mail features at click of button. The mail display page of yahoo mail should request to key in user anme and password to already established account holders. usually the appropaite details recognisable to a member has to be type keyed where for example capulise features that would have been recognised a password is necessary to allow accessiblitity to member account. Observe the computers keyboard features to enable or disable caps lock keys that may have contributed toward least deriving accessibility with an authetic password and useranme. Also, usually several attempts to log into personal acount would have locked the access retainable by emailing or calling by phone the network account holder to perform changes. Unless the yahoo mail page displays such messages requesting to contact an account administrator least becomes unnecesary to gain accessiblity. Observe the yahoo mail account to ascertain the most appropiate means to log in.
You can open your main messenger screen and to open other messenger accounts you will need to use different browsers so that you can log into your Yahoo mail accounts and access those messenger accounts through your Email.
There can be many reasons due to which Yahoo mail account stops working. Like
·Suspicious activity on your account.
·Your Yahoo account is hacked.
·You account is logged in from a strange location
·Someone else is using your account

·There can be server errors. So firstly clear all cookies and cache of your device or try to reset your password. Otherwise, you can delete your account and create a new one.
I am having the same problem...I first thought my account was phished but then I was able to change my password...but couldn't log in again...I've three different accounts....nothing is working...I guess there is technical problem with Yahoo...I guess it may work sometime later
Fixed it on the advise of others by turning off computer. Restarting and and after many more failed attempts at logging on to Yahoo finally getting logged in (to an unfamiliar Yahoo page) and eventually finding an option titled "mail" and voila, there was my email in the format which am accustomed to.
