Question about Sewing Machines
I have a 40 year old Kenmore and I can't make it zigzag. Am I turning the wrong dials?
It is almost certainly gummed up with old oil and lint.
Methylated spirit on the needle arm and piton where it opught to move left & right to unclag...set in ZZ position and manually move needle arm to see where it all joins together.
When less resistant, lubricate.
If this fails take to a service centre for appraisal and ask for a quote.
