You can search the internet (but you'll need to determine the make & model of your machine):

The top thread keeps braeking. This is a recent problem. I use singer needles. I live in South Africa. I dont get necchi needles.

Usual causes are:

Weak or inconsistent thread..

Threaded wrong.

Needle installed backwards or not seated.

Incorrect tension or contamination in the tension control.

The key to finding the problem is to manually turn the machine through cycles and watch at what point the thread breaks or is strained excessively.

I have moved to australia from South Africa I have a Pfaff Creative Embroidery machine, do I need to change the voltage from S.Africa 220v to Australia 240v.URGENT please advise how this is don if need...

no, it will definately run fine in Australia.Electricity in South Africa is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second which is the same as Australia. The voltage in Aus and SA will be somewhere between 220/240v most of the time.

Broken stitching

if the bottom stitching is bad that means something is wrong with the top thread. If the top stitch is bad that means the problem is with the bobbin. Wind the tension the whole way in and then back it off to number 3 and then rethread it. When you hold the thread coming out of you bobbin case it . The whole thing should fall into your hand slowly not real fast. There is a screw on the metal bobbin case to adjust the tension on that. That is if you have a pull out metal bobbin case.
