Question about Sport & Outdoor - Others

1 Answer

Purchased new in 2000, caravan was delivered and sited as accommodation in back garden. Wheels have never moved. now want to use for touring, obviously need to have tyres changed, wheels/axles checked out & braking system checked. No wear will be evident, but possible seizure of parts is expected. Would you envisage major problems? Is there anything else within the axle apart from bearings etc? Would this be within scope of general motor mechanic or is caravan specialist required?

Orbit traveling sprinkler won't move wheels turn when in neutral but not on high or low setting worked fine last night now nothing!!

I have a brand new orbit traveling sprinkler and the wheels won't move - they're frozen. The directions say to "Pull out the stopper underneath the sprinkler between the back wheels ..." and there is a white knob attached to a spring. When I try adjusting that, the wheels stay locked, frozen, won't move. What am I doing wrong?

2003 dodge caravan and require two new tires on the rear. Do I plavce the new tires on the front drive axle or on the rear and move the old ones to the front

Front tires tend to wear faster than old ones. It is usually best to put the new tires on the front drive wheels (traction, steering, braking). Then put the older tires on the back.

I don't know if you can on the FLHTC Tour-Pak. I believe the FLHTCU Pak has large indentations to accommodate the lights.

I changed all 4 Wheels on my 96 Dodge caravan and when I let it down the wheels are locked up and I can't move,

What wheels did you put on the bus was they the same wheels that came off.
If not then they are to big /the centres are wrong and pressing on the brake assy and or drums on rear SO.
Jack up the front and see if you can turn the front wheels and then the rears
And refit your own if there no good

1998 dodge caravan transmission

I hope this helps with your problem have someone to take and put the car in the air on jack stands do not start the car be sure to put something behind the back wheels first for safety put the car in neutral have someone put on gloves and see if they can turn the wheels in the front if you can not turn the wheels it is either a bad caliper on the brakes or a bad axle
