Question about Sony NWZ-E438F Digital Media Player
There's a setting you can change to keep it from automatically doing this.
It'll be on your computer rather than the player, in the preferences section of whichever media player you use. Just change it from "transfer files automatically" to "ask me what to do" (or something similar - the language they use varies a bit) in the section for how to handle files when you plug in your player.
