Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Hi, I recently bought an acer aspire x3200, and have problem connecting to my wireless. The problem is that it doesn't find the network. I find other wireless networks in building, but not that particular one. I have no problem connecting with my laptop, so i don't think the wireless is the problems. Also I've reinstalled drivers etc. without any luck.

I can find other wireless networks and connect to them. Could be driver related, though I've already reinstalled them.

Is the LAN on? Perhaps you need to reinstall driver software.

I have aa ACER X3200 and the net work adapter will not recognize the LAN plugged in. The LAN source is active and works on other computers I have.

Check the Network Connections (in control panel) to see if the LAN connection is enabled. If not there, you'll need to setup a new network connection. If it is there, right-click the connection icon and choose enable.

You can also check the Device Manager to see if the network adapter is listed and working without errors.

Are you sure that you installed the windows xp drivers and not the vista drivers? There may be no xp drivers for your laptop, and if thats the case, you'll have to switch back to vista. Make sure you know 100% that its the xp drivers.
