I slid the printer cartridges to the middle by hand to change the cartridge. Result is that now they are printing 3 inches to the right. How do I get it to go back into left/right proper alignment?

(I took too long to change the cartridge so it slid back to home position, I didn't think to just start over and moved it by hand).

Not sure if this will work for you. I started my cartridge up till it got to the centre and pulled the electrical plug out of the wall Took the old one out and installed the new one then re plugged the printer back in. Every thing started right up and stopped where it is supposed to be. Works like new now.

SOURCE: The print cartridge cradle cannot move.

"The print cartridge cradle cannot move."
I fixed this problem by disconnecting the power cord from the power-strip and connecting it directly into the wall. My printer was not getting enough voltage from the power-strip. I hope this helps.

My printer goes through the motion of printing but the paper comes out blank. I've an hp deskjet d2360 and there is ink in it

Possibility cartridge print head dry.

Solution 1:
Do a clean process
cartridge automatically. Press START - Control Panel - Printers and Faxes - HP Deskjet d2360 right click and select Printing Preferences - Select the Color tab - select Printer Services - select Clean cartridge, wait for the cleaning process is completed - Perform Test print. If the print test results, has good graphics, press Finish. If the graph is not clear or drop out, repeat the cleaning process once again.

Solution 2:
1. Open the cover printer, cartridges will move to the middle position.
2. Remove the cartridge (be careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand), then stick the tip cartridge (print head) to clean water
3. Then, attach the print head to a tissue paper. If there is a tissue paper used in ink (black cartridges, black block lines, and color cartridges, three color red yellow blue lines), means the flow of ink to the print head is normal. If the
tissue paper no trace of ink, attach back into the water, repeat the above process.
4. After process is complete no.3, clean the cartridges with a tissue paper (careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand, because it will damage the cartridge). After cartridge clear of the water, insert the cartridges into printer.

HP 2840 will not print on 3 inches of left side of page

Take the toner cartridge out, shake it back and forth, and turn it around in a circle a few time. Put it back in the priter, and print. Order a new toner cartridge.

If this is an inkjet printer, ignore this response.

With printer on and connected to computer do the following:

Fix top cover on open position, using the plastic sustain part located on the right side inside the printer.
Wait for ink carriage for taking position in the middle of the printer rail.
Open cartridge top cover.
Pull cartridge toward yourself and snap it out.
Do the same in reverse order to fit new cartridge.

Incorrect Cartridge Print cartridge in right stall not supported?

I changed the cartridge and it now works. I resent this though because it had been merrily printing before it decided it would stop and I have had to waste a three quarters full cartridge! I just hope the new one does not go the same way

Seem unable to get my ink cartridge holder in middle position to insert new cartridge. have tried 2 TR27 copy cartridges from ABITECH Nottingham but both made the error light flash ! Printer id EPSON...

I cannot remember if the Status Monitor (SM) of the 810 has a "change cartridge" facility, but it's easy to check. Right click the printer icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and select printer settings. Then click the maintenance tab - is "change cartridge" one of the options? If so, use it. If it isn't you can download the SSC utility from

http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

and use this to move the cartridge to the cartridge change position - don't forget to use it to do an ink charge cycle after you have replaced the cartridge.

There is also the "generic" approach. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head starts to move, pull the power lead out of the printer, or turn it off at the mains. The print head should now be free to move (gently!) by hand to the cartridge change position. The snag here is there is no inherent means of running an ink charge cycle - do a couple of head clean cycles instead.

Epson cx11nf printing problem

on the right hand side of the printer towards the back, but on the right hand portion of the printer there is a tab you can open it is about 3/4 inch wide and 2 inches long. After you pop the tab off, there is a handle. Pull the handle out SLOWLY all the way. This will wipe off the printing head like a windshield wiper. Insert the handle back in slowly, and whallah!!!

Fixed me real good!!!

It's a long shot, but there may be some paper stuck inside the toner cartridge. This happens occasionally. Be careful not to scratch the blue photo drum! Try replacing the cartridge.
