The lights are on even thought the cartridges are replaced

My Canon Pixma colour and B/W cartridges are just replaced but the lights are still blinking. I have the instruction for Canon Pixma mp 150 ( my previous printer) but they don't work with this.

What should I do ?

Thanks already if somebody can help.

The printing results are good - the blinking lights ae just bothering me :)

You probably have bad cartridges.
Email Canon and see if they won't send you replacements.

Printing only orange and yellow

Hi Florian,

if the cartridges are full, but still not all colours appear, it could be a driver issue. Try uninstalling the printer, reboot and install it again. Even pull the cartridges out and back in, just to be sure. Preferably check for newer printer drivers on Canon´s website. Let me know how it ended up Flo, ok?

Printer says I have duplicate Magenta cartridges when I don't?

I think it's the chips on the cartridge - the colour that it thinks it's duplicating! I took it off the black (duplicated) and put it on the magenta and it thought it had duplicate magenta cartridges!!
