My caravan electrolux blizzard 1500 air conditioning system trips the ELCB/RCD in the house when we switch it to warm. Where can I get a manual, or is this a known problem?

My caravan Electrolux Blizzard SA101 split air conditioner cools via compressor and heats via 1.5KW metal sheathed electric element. The element is similar to the coil on electric stove. It had 43mA leakage to earth enough to trip my RCD/safety switch. I pull the orange wire connector off the front panel heat switch and now the RCD does not trip out. If I am cold I will use a fan heater, it works better being at floor level and is quiieter.

When i turn on the tub it trips the breaker why

Depends which breaker - if the rcd or elcb trips there is a power leakage to ground because of a fault. If it is the mcb there is a different sort of fault causing the appliance to attempt to consume too much current, a short circuit...

My domena steam press keeps tripping switch

It has a serious fault, the trip tripping is saving you from a electric shock.
By the way if your ELCB is a oblong brown or black box with a yellow or orange test button its way outdated I recommend you get it changed for a modern RCD (much safer)

Is the RCD sensing a leak to earth?

As a test, you could drop the earth wire off the unit and see if the ignitor then works. If it did, then you would need to figure out if there was somewhere else you could earth the unit. This would potentially leave the ignitor without an earth and you need to decide what to do about that.

I hope you can see that I'm absolutely avoiding advice that you remove the earth from your unit in order to make it function. What you should do is get a professional in to correct the fault. What you actually do is a matter for you.

Not an Impedance this is a lower load trip switch on your power plug line.
All waht can be done is to keep a higher amp ELCB/MCB into this circuit and the fault will be over.
If ELCB then check if the iron is having any leak of the coils as a small leak can trigger a cut off.
Check your grounding
