Three flashing lights wont run. Replacing motor because of damaged commutator. what esle could it be? I reconditioned commutator and replaced brushes. Noticed old brushes had sliced into the middle of the commutator looks like it went all the way through the very thin copper. Would a motor fault cause the flashing error and could it have burned up the control module?
I would recon the relays on the control board would of burnt out, these a switches they click to make motor/s run and turn on water etc. if the motor has burnt these would overheat and melt inside. they are cheap parts but you need the correct type come in different types. 12-24 volts. 5 to 30 amps. and in range of colours. you need to match them.common is blue square shape 4 to 5 pins soldered to the board.

u can sometimes tip the washer backwards and with a torch u should be able to see the carbon brushes and the 2 star screws which hold them in undue these screws and the carbon brushes will pop out very easily for u to change them m8
SOURCE: installing carbon brushes on Bosch WFK 2401
Remove rear panel of washer.
Remove drive belt.
Unscrew the 2 bolts that hold motor to tub back.
Remove motor plug
Lever notor back with a screwdriver or similar, keeping a firm hold on motor.and remove motor
At the rear end of motor away from pulley you will see the brushes and the armature.
Remove brushes, and if there is less than 4 or 5mm of carbon left, then replace them.
Lightly clean the armature with emery cloth.
Refit in reverse order. Test.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I had F63 on Bosch washing machine (Maxx 7).
I waited 5 days for a repairman and all he did was reset the washing machine processor, like this:
1. Turn the program knob to 6 o'clock
2. Hold the RPM button
3. While the RPM button is held, turn the program knob 1 click clockwise (to Rinse)
4. Release the RPM button.
This is similar to F21 which also happened to my machine.
Apparently both errors are related to power surge/power cut.
SOURCE: Hi, How Can I Reset error in my wash machine Bosch
Error code reset on Classixx 6 1200 Express
The post above is correct, just missing one detail, see below;
You can reset the error code by the follow steps.
Turn the knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position. Wait for Error code to flash
Press and hold the spin button and while holding the spin button turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position (Drain position)
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds then release the spin button and now turn the knob to off. Wait 5 seconds
When you turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.
