It sounds like you purchased a unit someone else returned. There is no password to unlock unless set by the user, much like your cell phone. I would return it and exchange it for another one.

Wedll if this is not a stolen GPS Then the matter is simple. Take it back to the exact coordinates that you set the pin in. Then you will be able to access the pin setup and reset it to a new password. Your only other choice is to send it to Garmin, but if it has been listed as stolen, then expect the cops! You have to contact BENQ with the required code numbers to get an unlock code. No one else can issue an unlock code. If the projector was stolen, you will not get a code but will probably get a cop at your door instead.
