SOURCE: The Bobbin Assembly will turn in reverse but not forward Juki LU-563

Most likely the bobbin retainer has been bent. Turn it over by hand with the power off and look carefully, you will prolly see it.

SOURCE: My Juki LU-563 stopped picking up the bobbin thread, changed needle, took out bobbincase to look for thread, none, still won't sew because of bobbin thread not being picked up.

If you've properly installed a brand new needle that is correct for the machine, threaded it correctly, checked that the bobbin is installed correctly and the bobbin tension threaded properly, most likely the machine is out of time. In other words, the needle is arriving at the bobbin at the wrong time in order to intercept the bobbin. (You can open the bobbin area, hand rotate the handwheel and watch how and where the needle moves in relation to the bobbin to see where and why it is not connecting.) You can search the internet for web sites and videos that discuss machine timing or you can take it for service.

Testimonial: "Then it must be out of timing. So strange bobbin pulled a little as it ran out of thread while seeing and now it won't sew."

I have a new Juki LU 1508NH and I can't get it to pick up the bobbin thread. Any ideas?

There are a few things you can try -
1. Extend the bobbin thread longer outside and push it away from you.
2. When you make the Stiching pressure lever down then see whether it sits properly or is lose and creating gap.
3. Clean the bobbin seat. Check for its free movement.
