Recycled camera, this. Showing a square symbol

A recycled camera, this, bought for $10 and otherwise supplied with cables, battery, etc. Showing a square symbol bounded by arrows in viewfinder; there is no image but vertical bars, which get recorded over existing tape. Am I missing something obvious here?

What type of wood is used in wooden pallets?

The majority of pallets, like those available on Premier Pallets Supplies, are made out of wood. The type of wood used differs depending on the supplier, and will usually be selected based on how accessible the wood is in that region and how cheap it is. There are three types of wood mainly used:

- High-density hardwood like Birch, Maple, Oak, etc.
- Low-density hardwood like Willow, Walnut, and Aspen
- Softwood like Cypress, Cedar, etc.

Aside from wood, they are also sometimes made of different materials, including:

- Plastics
- Metals
- Paper
- Recycled materials

As the materials used in pallets are often able to be recycled and reused, you can often sell pallets you have no need of back to suppliers. For example, I sold my wooden pallets in Poole back to my supplier when I no longer had any use for them.

How do i replace built-in battery in apple iPhone5?

  • According to my information your one-year warranty for iPhone includes replacement coverage for a defective battery. First check it whether your iPhone is within warranty or not. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a Battery replacement for iPhone, subject to local tax. For the products like built-in batteries, only Apple should replace the batteries or an Apple authorized service provider. Apple and its authorized service providers will ensure the spent battery is recycled properly, since batteries should always be recycled or disposed separately from household waste.

I have replace ma toner now indicator is showing toner not recognised please give me some solution

Did you get your toner from an authorized toshiba retailer? If not and you bought recycled toner cartridges, tough luck. You've probably just destroyed your machine.

Low battery showing replacing batteries does not solve problem

The flashing low battery symbol is the way Canon film cameras showed that the camera has had an error and has stopped functioning. It can have multiple causes - but for a quick check remove the lens, turn off the camera and then turn it back on - see if the symbol stops flashing. A problem with the lens can also cause this problem (usually a failure of the aperture unit)

I just purchased Liftmaster 971LM for my 139.53975srt1 Sears 1/2hp garage door opener. It will not program. I have only one working remote that was recycled from my father's unit - it says craftsman...

If the recycled remote is Security + there is no logical reason the new units should not work. If the old remote is a different technology and there have been changes to the opener or a different receiver that could be the problem.

How do I recycle my dead PowerRite Plus 360 UPS? Or can it be recycled?

Most cities have local recycling centers where you can drop off paper, plastic, etc. They usually have something set up for electrical components like VCRs and batteries. The PowerRite Plus was an old Deltec model. Deltec was acquired a few times and is now belongs to Eaton. If you are looking for a new UPS, you can participate in the UPSgrade program which includes recycling your old UPS:
