Question about Computers & Internet
I have an HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop. All the lights come on. You can hear the hard drive and CD drive start. The problem is the screen remains black. I have replaced the Inverter. I have also hooked up the VGA monitor on my desktop to the laptop. There is no display doing this either. So what's next to check?
Yep ...it seams that you mess with the grafic card ( vga driver ) ..probably on color register ..or some driver update ..and now it wont display image ...
either reinstall the pc ...and its probably the best ...or restore using cd .. cause if it was something wrong with your display ..it should work on the other monitor... it also might be a video card fail ...if after re-installation its the same ...its the video card..
if you are worried for the data on il ...just install windows without formating ...choose to install a new os in the old folder...
