Maytag dryer problem

dryer has a clicking sound when you start it after first load it stops and buzzes. it won,t start up untill about 10 minutes and ithas a loud clicking noise. is it the timer or the motor/

Thanks you have convinced me its the motor as it has now stopped completely. I have a maytag stacked style washer/dryer model lse7800. does anyone know if I access the motor from the front or the back? so far the help has been great.

Gurusounds like the motor. if the motor gets too hot then the overload on the motor wont let it come back on until it cools off
