Question about Acer Aspire 5000 Notebook
I have just rebuilt a well damaged Aspire 5000 (ZL5) laptop. I replaced the top case half (broken frame) and a fan that flew apart and ripped through it's casing. I've run it and it works fine accept that it overheats. The new fan begins to run then shuts down, over and over. It doesn't even reach full RPM. Any ideas?
Maybe its set from bios to start at a certain temp ...get bios settings to optimal default ...
