If you can find where it drains too, you can attach a wet/dry vac to drain and vacuum out any debris lodged in pipe. Have an assistant go near the indoor unit and listed for the sound of the vac just to make sure you have the correct drain.

Why is water is coming into the room through the

Most probable cause is a clogged drain line or a drain that is not properly pitched. Ensure the unit is level and that the drain line is properly pitched and clear. Some units are equipped with a small condensate pump. The unit will leak water if the pump is not working properly.

Panasonic CS/CU-A242KR Air conditioner leaking water

OK lets see what we can help you with here. The condensate drain is clogged. There are a couple of ways to clear this clog so lets give it a try. If you know where the drain for the a/c is located outside (usually by the outside condenser unit) it will be a pipe that is just sticking out of the side of the house, if you find it take a wet/dry vac and place it on this pipe and turn the vacuum on and make a seal with your hand this should unclog the drain. If you don't find this pipe outside the house then go to the furnace and you will see at the bottom of the furnace a pipe (PVC) white, this is the drain for the unit inside. Take the wet/dry vac and have it at the ready in the event the clog is further down the line than at the furnace itself now the fittings on this pipe should not be glued together due to the ability to access for this very purpose. Take the pipe apart at one of the fittings and place the wet/dry vac on the end of the pipe towards the furnace and using your hand make a seal and evacuate the line. Do this to both sides since you don't know where the blockage is. If you are unable to separate the pipe at any fitting you will need to cut the pipe and at the spot of the cut you will need to repair it with a sleeve. Remember that the drain pipe is plastic and is made of pvc so you can get a repair coupling from any home improvement store for this repair.
Hope this helped you some

My panasonic cs-2470kr split air con is leaking condensate from the air unit. suspect drain blocked or tray broken. is it possible to remove the front cover to check it out. if so, how? Frank

Find the drain on the outside of the house (should be located near the condesing unit outside) it is pvc and as I said it should be near the outside unit. This pvc will be sticking out of the house to which you can take a wet/dry vac and hold it to the end of this pvc pipe and it should remove the algae that is clogging up your drain pan. This is the easiest way to unclog an a/c unit. Going to the inside of the furnance can be done using a wet/dry vac to remove the debris in the drain pan however, the clog could possibly be in the a/c condensate drain trap that is why I suggest going to the drain on the outside of the house and removing the clogg that direction.

Good luck on repairs.

The condensation drain pipe to the up stairs unit is not draining

Is the piping a hose you can remove and flush out ? If so also clean out the fitting it attaches to also. If it is a solid pipe like copper or PVC you can try using a wet-dry vac on the other end where it goes into the drain. Worst case it may need to be cut to clear the clog.

Water leaking into the house - model AOT24RWGL

Either the drain line is clogged, or there is a hole in the pan.

Get a powerfull wet/dry shop vacume.
Attatch it to the end of the drain pipe and seal it tight and pull out any dirt, mold crud blockages.

Take the panel off so you can access the drain pan under the evap coil. Clean that out as well with the vac.

Once its nice and clean, poor a gallon or so of water into the pan bein g carefull to not pour to fast.
Make sure that the line is drainign well and look for any spots where there may be a crack, hole etc in the drain pan where water may leak out

2 year old kenmore elite water leaking in freezer area

Does this happen when unit is in a defrost?? If so, sounds like the drain line is clogged. The hose and pan are located under the unit. You can access this by removing the cardboard back cover.Find the drain line tube.I'm sure the drain opening at the evaporater is iced over. You will have to unplug the unit and keep the doors open to defrost.(Removing product in unit will decrease defrost time.) Maybe an hour to an hour and a half.Could be longer!! Try using a wet/dry vac to clear.
