While applying at nwu I filled in my details in order to get a student number but unfortunately I filled in my email address/gmail account incorrectly and before I could correct it my phone shut down.Now I didn't receive a student number and when I try to get a new student number it says ID number already exist.Please help I'm begging you

you have to select imap4 as the connection type, not pop3.
incoming mail server ---- imap.gmail.com
outgoing mail server----smtp.gmail.com

these are the setting that are needed to access gmail on your mobile

Then, if none of these address work and your problem still persists, try disabling or making an exception in your firewall. TO access your firewall, go to control panel, security, and then Windows Firewall. There, either disable it, or, go to the exceptions tab and make gmail an exception site.

had the same problem starting Aug 11, 2010 - mid day. It is strange. I've reported it to yahoo, and they are taking a long time. I've had my account for more than 10 years. It is something on their end for sure.
