I have changed a intake manofold gasket and i got it out of time and i don't know how to get it back in time. what is the firing order

I think Your post were not classified correctly, appears as two way radio trouble and I think is for an engine or some related with cars

Hello, It seems you have done a lot in trying to fix this. My first idea is that it is a pickup sensor for the camshaft or crankshaft. The firing order of your engine is 1 4 2 5 3 6. You are having misfires in 3 consecutive cylinders 4,2,5. This would seem to mean that the distance to trigger the firing is greater on 4,2,and 5 than on the other 3 cylinders. This can mean you have a lopsided situation on either the crank pulley or cam. You should see if the crank pulley is tight as well as the cam or if you can better adjust the 2 sensors.

Next, the Intake system can have a bad gasket. Use a water spray bottle and with the engine running, put a mist on the Intake gasket. If you have a change in RPM, then you have found a leak. This would explain why the same 3 cylinders are always misfiring. Some of the V-6 models used sandwiched 2 piece manifolds and the gasket between the upper and lower half would deteriorate over time. Some engines used "runners" between the Intake manifold and heads which could gum up over time. Just a cleaning operation if you are putting on a new Intake gasket anyway.

I hope my solution is very helpful and would like to know what you finally found as the problem.

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. Need the firing order to a 1993 chevy v6 4.3 liter i changed the intake gasket and got it out of time and cant figure out how to get it to crank back up

Firing order. took the spark plug cables off and don`t know where they go back

First,look at the coils see if the towers are numbered.Each coil fires 2 cylinders!
look on intake manifold for fireing order display! The v6 engine fires from one bank across to the other in a straight line example,cylinders 1&2 3&4 and 5&6 at the rear of the engine or farthest right side. 1&2 left side faceing engine 3&4 in the middle. All you need to do is find cylinder # 1 hook up the # 1 wire to the # 1 coil tower to the # 1 plug or cylinder,follow the fireing order 123456,its simple if you cant see coil tower numbers look at another car with same engine that has distributor less ignition.The coil pack for the 4 cylinder gm has plug wire terminals or towers numbered as well.Only in a harder place to see like behind and underneath!

You do not have the dist. in correct or plug wires are crossed. Please check wires 18436572 is firing order.

Temp gauge and gas gauge not working

I had the same problem with my 2001 Pontiac Montana and the intake manifold gasket. This is a major problem with these 3.4L engines, if you are in the states I'm pretty sure there is a class action law suite against GM for this. I had my manifold gasket replaced and it was about $1000 CAD. You need to get your vehicle looked at right away as this could cause major engine damage, coolant will leak into the engine and soon enough you will be replacing that too. Good Luck

Oil dark and thick, oil is 2 times full amount and car shakes

prestone going down there bad for intake gasket you have a 4 or 6 cyl you probably got intake gm had lots of trouble with those intake in usa and canada they have law suit you can join look on internet for law suit agains gm for intake gasket i know it doesnt help you now but its big job to do $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ good luck pierre
