SOURCE: SD card capacity

Yes, the hardware is SDHC-compatible. You just need to apply Microsoft hotfix KB934428 for Windows XP (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=de&FamilyID=6edfb30f-b1ab-42a8-a330-acd6762961bc) and you are set. 16GB SDHC working like a charm.

SOURCE: how do i use the extra space and memory card on my tablet?

I have a Nextbook 7" Capacitive Touch Android Tablet.
i got this for my son for Christmas. he has put a few games on the device and now we keep getting a message saying there is not sufficient space for new downloads. so then i bought a 32mb sd card, and were still getting the same message, but it shows there is over 3/4 of the hard drive still available, and all of the sd card space still available. does anyone know what could be wrong? or what i could do to fix this??

I bought a Kingston 16 GB Micro SD. Is that compatible to my Tab 840. I inserted it and heard the clisck but nothing appeared on the screen . What am I took look for and how do I know it is working?

Go to Settings>More Settings>Storage,
There you should have the new SD Card listed.

You still need to tweak different apps to make sure they store data on this card.

If card does not show up in storage, try the card on a different tab or windows PC. If it does not show there either card may be faulty.

You can also try a different card in your tablet and see if that shows up in the Storage settings

I have put 32 gb sd card into excelvan tablet for external storage and its not saving?

Unfortunately, most apps will not load onto an SD card. You'll find that some apps will, if a card is installed, place data there. Mostly the SD Cards are installed for use in storing photos and videos taken by the user with the tablet camera. Newer tablets and smartphones are coming with more and more internal RAM to alleviate the "full" issue, but in most cases, you wither have to give up the new app, or remove one to get another.

I inerted a 32gb SD card and nothing happened so I popped it out anthem I could not get it to pop ck in tablet said new SD card???

When you insert an SD card in the slot the tablet will *mount* it automatically. This means it connects to it and formats it and adds some files and folders so it can utilize it.

Before you remove it you need to go to Settings>Storage>External SD and touch the *unmount* option.

If you don't do this there is a chance the card can be corrupted and can become unusable. If the tablet said new SD card then you might have to go into Settings>Storage>External SD and touch the *Mount* option.

If it's a new SD card chances are you didn't hurt it. But if it's a use one on which you had a lot of data stored and you didn't unmount it before removing it you could have damaged the file structure and your only option to get it back would be to put it into a card reader on a laptop or desktop and reformat it.

How do i use the extra space and memory card on my tablet?

You need to format it as NTFS instead of FAT32. FAT32 will throw up warnings when you attempt to copy over anything over a few gigabytes. Plus, NTFS is more stable and secure. Try that first.

Is this happening when you try to copy over large files or a large number of files? I'm curious to know what the specific issue is. Could you tell me if you can copy anything over at all? Have you tried the SD card in another device?

Either way, check the formatting to make sure it's NTFS. Good luck!

How to put photos on my sd card

This more than likely means your internal storage is low and not the SD card and may not have anything to do with your pictures but more so with your apps. Go into settings and see if your tablet has the feature to set where your downloads and other media is stored, by default that will be your internal memory. change it to SD card or USB storage. In Settings you can also click on your apps individually and transfer them manually one by one to the SD card or USB storage or download a file manager and do so all at once. Some apps and files may not have the feature to transfer these apps the tablet came with or apps you downloaded that uses the internal memory. By default if a memory card is in you tablet pictures are automatically store there, if this is not the case the easiest way to transfer is connecting the tablet to a computer/laptop and transfer to the card or again use a file manager.

Haier hg 9041 boot up problem

Did you get it fixed or did you send the tablet back? I could not get mine fixed and I finally paid attention to another forum and I fixed it with that download. I was zipping the file then unzipping it then putting it on my sd card and it does not work that way. I saved the new firmware straight to sd card put in tablet and boom I was up and running in ten minutes. Just be patient with it cause it will act like its doing nothing but it is.

Nothing happens when I put in a 2gb SD chip

Check to make sure it isn't an SDHC card. Most older card readers aren't able to read the formatting of the newer cards. You may need to buy a new card reader with SDHC support.
