I have the same problem

It happens to mine a lot. After i charge it I have to turn it on about 10 times while it keeps shutting itself off. Sometimes it says "use authentic battery". I've never changed the battery

Mine just started this recently.
Sounds like the battery is not charging. My solution was to use a small screwdriver to move the charger pin in the power adapter hole in the under off center. That gave it better contact, it began to charge properly and fixed my issue.

Lg versa shuts itself off couple of times a day
There is a shock sensor in the phone and any slight jarring will turn it off to protect the circuitry (if you drop it good)... it may be annoying but it is a decent feature.

you can do a self-diagnosis test by pressing the menu and input/device button on set for 5 sec and see what error code it gives you. Count the blinks followed by a short pause then more blinks. This is the error code.
