Make sure there is gas in tank.Pull choke on if there is one.Throttle ahead to Start position.Pull to start several times (not on grass).If flooded you should smell gas or see drips under carb. Remove plugs.They should be wet if fuel is getting thru.If no fuel present add a small amount (eyedropper or so)into each cylinder and put plugs back in.try to start.If it fires and dies then your problem is fuel not getting thru (check fuel shutoff ! ) Check Kill Switch !
Check the shut of switches for blade , brake , deck, pto. You may have just shut down the tractor and forgot to disengage these safety features. Good Luck Friend.

Just take off your carb and give it a good cleaning. Be careful and watch how everything comes apart so you can put it back together with little or no trouble.

Hi, well, if it hasn't been started since November? then maybe, the spark plug has fouled, change, DO NOT clean and replace unless you have NO alternative. Also check, the spark plug lead. Replace if possible with a new one. Check all connections, to magneto/alternator, make sure you have voltage? Check the ignition circuit, the electronic ignition module too. Then Check to see if you indeed have a spark, hold the plug, against the case of the motor, and see if you can discern a spark, it should be big, and nice and blue.purple.
Also ensure gas is getting to the carburettor, take the fuel line Off at the carb, and see if gas is flowing?
I would imagine though you have sufficient gas.
If it uses a battery, then make sure this is OK too.

I believe that Toro Guarantees to start 1 Pull, was gas left in it all winter?, If so this is'nt covered under warranty, cause gas is to be ran out or dumped out at end of season this will prevent any gumming up of carb . did you completely disassemble carb? does it have a primer on it, those gskts need replacing, clean out the jet in bottum of float bowl,small holes,sometimes missed and remove and check your needle/seat to make sure that when float drops gas runs out then lift float up and gas should stop. hope this helped you,another thing spray carb cleaner in carb and pull over and see if it will start that way enough to keep running with choke to see if it will **** gas into it
