I don't believe that Husky (Home Depot) makes any 3000psi pressure washer that operates with a 2 Cycle motor. So.... gas only in the gas tank. Husky pumps can be from several differant manufacturers... some use no oil, some are sealed and don't recommend any attempt at oil changes, and some use Non-detergent 30w oil and some use 20-50 Full Synthetic oil. You can look up your specific model specifcations with a google search for Husky pressure washer.
It likely needs to be rebuilt .Wonce the gasket is leaking it usely needs to be replace .However that is an unasul place for a leak on a pressure washer . Iwould guess that something is restricted inside the valve body that caused this problem or hocked up wrong .How dose it pump if its good then mabey you can tighten the bolts and stop it but i don't think its to likely you should n't have that much pressuer at that point but try it first
High likelyhood of your intake screen/filter being stopped up with debris that was in the water hose.
Other than that, more information would be needed. Like, does no pressure mean it doesn't seem to spray at all (or nothing more than the water hose is pushing water through the system with the engine off)? Or does the pressure come up a little and there is a pulse you can feel in the hose/trigger gun? Any other little details you notice can provide clues as to the root of the problem.
If it was just a stopped up intake, and this fixes your problem -- please take a sec to rate me. Thanks! Don
If yours is like ethe sample in the picture, replace the fitting. It costs about $12.00 and is simple to replace, only a washer and a nut hold it in place. If you really don't want to do that, wrap more tape on your gage until it stops. Fixing this problem in any other manner is time consuming ... and 'iffy' at best.
A 'fix' would be to drill the top and re-tap the threads for the next size bigger gage or to install an adapter that would be the next size. I don't know if your top can stand that, ... not to mention now you have to have a drill and a tap to do this.
