Question about HP Photosmart C7280 Laser Printer

1 Answer

An update corrupted my hp all in one driver. I uninstalled it the other day, and then because I had lost the CD, I went to the website to get the download to re-install. It got to 96% and then listed a fatal error, so I did a system restore to put it back on. My dad told me to try and use an older version of the installation download, so I went to uninstall the hp printer, and now it will not even uninstall. How do I manually uninstall this printer? And where can I find an older version (9.0) so I can re-install? HP Photosmart C7280

I wish I could tell you that your experience with HP drivers was a fluke but it is not HP updates can often cause serious hardware problems. Try drivers.com for the driver version you are looking for> There is a fee for the use of the site but they have a vast selection of drivers for almost anything. GL and hope all works out for you.

its fine any model woudl work just download any internal cd drive driver. there is even a stock one in windows. just go to device manager .. right click my computer, prop-device manger- then you will see th yellow or red arror for the drive and click uninstall driver or update driver. if you click uninstall driver then reboot and it will find the driver on the reboot. also make sure you dont have it set up via a jumper as master and have another drive on the same cable as master. switch the jumper to slave (instructions are on the cd drive itself) and that shoudl also fix it let me know

Sound not working on laptop

This issue could be due to corrupt audio driver or corrupt BIOS settings on the notebook. To isolate this issue, uninstall and reinstall the audio drivers. If the issue persists, then update BIOS on the notebook. You can download the drivers from the HP software & drivers website of your notebook model.

Webcam no worky!

first look on your cam for the model number and brand

example veo stingray 4420 drivers is what you would type in search,
next go to the websight for drivers or firmware
firmware is same as the cd program, this is a bigger download, under support webcam web pages

to install drivers, start settings control panel classic view should be on, then system on bottom hardware tab device manager, look for yellow mark next to cam, right click properties, update drivers then find cd location on hard drive
or have microsoft update search for it automatic
