Re: battery

Plug the Sansa c200 into the computer using the USB drive. And, on the face of the mp3 player, there is a light yellowish-green bar that lets you know how much it is charged up. It's kinda hard to see, but it's there.

The screen on my phone is stuck displaying sony ericsson and will not let me switch it on,recharge the battery or indeed anything else.

Remove the battery, this will reset the system allowing you to connect the charger. Then you can attempt to restart. If this fails to rectify the failure, let me know and I can suggest some other methods to help.

Change battery sansa ciip

If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

I have had a tevion mp4 player for over a year and when I turn it on the screen flashes the low battery symbol and then turns off. But I know that the battery is full power because I have had it on...

It sounds like the battery isn't holding its charge. Rechargeable batteries only have a certain life span dependent on how many times they are charged/discharged.

You should be able to get a replacement battery and change it yourself without too much effort.

Slacker G2 will not power-on

Sometimes my slacker G2 will not power on because the battery is so dead. Try plugging it in to recharge it and leave it alone for a few hours. It will automatically turn on once it has enough juice to do so and charge full. Let me know if that works.

Did not receive manual. How do you recharge

Simply attach the USB plug that came with the device to your MP3 Player, then plug the other end into a computer, it should automatically start charging! A full charge usually takes about 2 hours.
Hope this helps!

Automatic on & off

This sounds like it may have a power issue. I would suggest taking the back cover off to gain access to the battery (should slide off). Next I would remove the battery from your MP3 player for one full minute. Then put the battery back in and check it. If that does not solve it, try recharging if rechargeable or replacing if disposable battery(s) are used.

This product uses a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery which is charged by usb power. So when you plug it into your Computer or Laptop it recharges with the power it get through the usb port. You can also buy a USB AC Charger for MP3 Players it plugs into your wall outlet and has two usb ports on the bottom to plug into. You can get on at Walmart for about $15.00 called MusicPower
There are even USB Charger for you Car as well.

Battery doesn't hold charge

It is just like that because it isn't done recharging. After a while it will turn back to what it's real power level is. You should let your MP3 player recharge for over an hour at least to have it fully recharged.

Screen says battery is full, but wont turn on

I read somewhere that even with a functional lyra, when it displays "battery full", you should keep charging for another hour. This is said to extend battery life and give you an extra 2-3 hours of power. Either this is perfectly normal, or it indicates that the battery reading tends to be inaccurate. In any case, try leaving it charging even after it gives you the message. Another thing to consider is, how long has it been in the box? I'm not sure about lithiums, but most rechargeables I know live longer when used. Live it alone for too long and you shorten it's life. Could be good to get a second opinion on this battery thing though. If there's a warranty, don't let it waste. Good luck
