Hello i got Sharp ER 2396 cash register and it stop working any button i press it it gives me E error on left corner sound can you help me please

if it still has a program and the battery is not dead, power off/on with switch on right with key in sm. To just reset the whole thing to factory condition so you can resell it press down check button (3rd up from bottom<csh> key on right while powering off and on again in the sm position. THEN press top left button, then bottom left button, then top right button and finally bottom right button on keyboard

You forgot to sign on. It has no operator assigned. Enter your PIN number and press CASH# button in top corner of keyboard. If you have forgotten your PIN number for sign on, you can program new ones. One of the users has programming manuals here:

Press Clear (CL). Error should go away. If not, keyboard is usually faulty or sometimes printer. One of the users has the manuals for this model which may help:

You need to log in cashier. Press 1 then clerk/id button.........good luck

The deafault is simply 1. If it doesn't work, try numbers 1 to 10. If none othem work, you need to go into programming and print the clerk codes. See how you get on.

I think you mean an ER-A450T. Try pressing 1 then CASH# button (usually next to the JOURNAL FEED button. Not the CA/AT button)
