SOURCE: micro sd card not reading songs

Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. For any proble contact me [email protected] or [email protected]

SOURCE: Where do you put the Micro SD card in a Motorola V3 Phone.

It depends on your carrier or phone model.

Verizon Wireless still uses the CDMA network. CDMA gets the phone user ID from a programmed chip hardwired to the phone instead of a SIM card.

Because of this, there is room underneath the battery cover, south of the battery on the right side of the compartment for a mini-SD card.

Other carriers such as T-Mobile, Cingular/AT&T DO use SIM cards to store user ID, so there is not room for a memory card.

I do know that the MotoRazr2 V9 from AT&T DOES accept Micro-SD cards.

But if you have a GSM carrier such as T-Mobile or AT&T, the Razr V3 does not have a card slot.

SOURCE: Micro sd card in ke850

When the Prada 1 (KE850) was launched, it officially only supported up to 8 GB SD(HC) cards, but there are SD card manufacturers (i.e. Kingston) which claim that their 16 GB cards work in a KE850.

You could contact LG Customercare to confirm this or go with the 8 GB card to be sure ...

I have 408mb but it says i have insufficient space to download an app thats only 9.86mb...what's the problem?

Kindly go with what your phone or tab says please;it's the only way you can go past where you are stopped/stuck at the moment.
1. I suggest you get a micro SD card inserted in your phone/tab.
2. Open settings and navigate to apps/applications.
3. Click on any app you installed.
4. Look midway down and you'd notice two horizontal bars with
CLEAR DATA
and
MOVE TO STORAGE/SD Card

Select Move to Storage (or SD card) and wait for process to complete.
Do this for a number of apps you installed.
This method/tip/option helps free up Space so your tab/phone can allow you install more apps.

My tablet keeps giving me error message. Insuficcant space on tablet to download apps

This means the internal memory is full and the only way to add apps is to uninstall other apps that you have installed. Check to see if you have apps you no longer use and uninstall them.

How to fix- low on space-internal phone storage ful

If your system is out of contract and does not have any warranty left (because this will void any warranties on the phone), you need to use (https://www.kingoapp.com/) KingoRoot app to root your cell phone. Then use (System app remover (ROOT) by Jumobile Tools) to clean storage space. But, this program to uninstall some or most of the applications (User & System Apps) that you do not need or do not use.
Also, if you have a micro-SD slot with a micro-SD card in it, using the phone's App Manager, move some of the non-frequent used app to the micro-SD Card.

Thanks

Im having problems with storage, its a nokia lumia 530 and says 3.04GB used the phone system is saying its using 2.68GB I have minimal apps, photos and no music yet I am almost out even after a reset

First, tell the phone to store new files and apps on the SD card.
On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Storage Sense.
Tap SD card for each file type.

Next, move existing apps to the memory card
Tap phone -> apps+‎games -> bullet list icon
Select which apps to move.
Tap Move to SD.
You can later choose to move the most-used apps back to your phone from the memory card if running them from the card proves to be too slow.

How does ram vs internal storage work on tablet?

There are 2 storage in just about every smartphone or tablet. There is an internal storage, usually about 1gb. or 2gb. And there an internal SD storage, which is not same as the external micro sd card. RAM stands for Read Access Memory, it will not work as storage. Now, when you download an app it is usually save in the internal storage. If you move an app without an external micro sd card inserted, you are moving them to the internal SD storage. If possible got to setting>storage and check how is the storage divided, if you insert the external micro sd card it should display 3 separate bars. Also, another way to move apps and other things around is by using ES File Explorer. Check that out first and I hope you do resolve the problem, best of luck.

Cannot download anything, insufficient space on device

Hi Izabel Maritz, I want to help you with your question, just answer each of the following to the best of your knowledge and follow the solutions. 1 Smartphone or not. 2 Removable media inserted? (Micro SD card) 3 Does the Removable media device show unused space? First and most importantly if you know a Micro SD card is installed with sufficient space to save your downloads then your phone settings are set to save downloads to 'local storage' and has filled to it's max. Often you can fix this easiest by removing the card for a few seconds and re-inserting it whilst the phone not 'locked'. Most phones will prompt you asking if saves should now be made to the SD card or to leave it at 'local storage' If you answer yes to each of the above numbered questions, it is likely the browser you are using is set to download to the incorrect destination. Try Solution A below. If answers no to questions 2 or 3 of the above question skip to Solution B. (Solution A) To check this open your browser and look for the settings menu. From here it will depend on the browser you are using, but you want to look for an option related to the following. 'download location' 'file destination' 'save to external media' If you have no success or need help finding the setting for your browser please provide me with browser name. If it is the cell phone provider browser that comes default on the phone then I will need the make and model of the phone. (Solution B) If no Micro SD card is installed to your phone I would recommend buying one they are inexpensive and provide a large amount of space for things on your phone. The average phone whether it is smartphone or not does not have much 'local storage' Other solutions for B, 1 Freeing space in your local storage. This means deleting things saved to the phone itself. Music, Pictures, Ringtones, Video's, Applications could be filling the phones local storage. 2 Freeing space on your 'external media' device. This means deleting things from your 'Micro SD card' (Note. If you plug a phone smart or not into a PC or laptop usb port you may move things rather than delete them. I can assist further with that as well.

Can't move things to sd card

One question. Were you able to move apps to the sd card before?
When you go to settings, storage, does it show the external sd card? I want to explain something first. The sd card is an expandable storage card, but it won't store your apps. If you want to check it out just insert the old memory card in a computer and look for any apps. Smartphones usually comes equip with 2 types of storage:
1. Internal phone memory: which could range from 500mb. to 2gb. of storage. This will be by default the location where the apps would be saved.
2. Internal SD Card: this is an expand storage that is already in the smartphone. Notice that when you see an ad for the phone it usually advertise whether it is 4, 8 or 16gb. That is the internal SD storage.
The third option is the external micro sd card, which is the one you are having problem with.
In storage under settings, see if you have an option to mount the sd card, maybe it's not mounted. You can also clon or copy everything from the old sd card to the new sd card using a computer, and then try it again.

Internal phone storage space nearly full

How to Transfer Apps Pictures From Internal Storage to Micro SD Card...

The above page shows a method to move files to an SD card without you having to install an app. That should free up space. There are apps that can assist with this process but you may be so short of space that you need to move some with the above method (before you can even install another app). Note that you can actually move applications to a SD card as well as photos or books or music. Some versions of operating systems restrict access to SD cards. If you experience a difficulty, you may want to access the help and support for your particular phone model and operating system version. Check for that on the brand site.
