I am trying to get my Micro Innovations ic50c webcam to work with MSN
Messenger 6. I am having no luck with my PC (Win98) but it works perfectly
on my son's PC (Win98 also) - perplexing... I know it is not the camera or
the drivers because we can get it working on both PC's with Yahoo!
Messenger - no problem. But I want to use it with MSN Messenger because we
have our mail there, and, overall, I like MSN Messenger's interface better.
The camera is a USB 1.1 connected device, and is the first one listed on
http://www.mic-innovations.com /drivers_software.htm#1 .

Please help...

Hi Drew,

What do you see when you try and launch Webcam? Do you see a black screen
and nothing else? I have the Micro Innovations ic200c and I had this
problem. But after upgrading to the latest driver everything worked fine.
Webcam requires DirectShow 6 compliant web cameras to work and I believe the
older drivers don't support it. Try going to their website and downloading
the latest and greatest driver to see if it solves your problem.
