Try removing the power wire form the power supply located on the back of your pc. Once that is removed, discharge and build up power in your pc by turning it on. if any juice is stored in the board you will see it all discharge like it was trying to turn on. Open the side case and on the motherboard there should be a battery. Remove it, let it set for a couple minutes and the reinstall the battery. Now hook your power bcak up and hopefully this will solve the issue. By doing this you resest everything. If you have a hardware issue or bad motherboard you should be back where you started. You may also have a bad Power supply. If all the above fails, try installing a new PSU (Power Supply Unit).

SOURCE: green light flashing on the back of the cpu

Your power supply just died. If you don't have a surge protector, the power outage probably sent too much voltage to your computer. A power supply is relatively easy to install, but you do have to have some knowledge to do so.
Try looking at this: http://www.fonerbooks.com/r_power.htm
If you don't understand it, you should be able to get someone to replace it for you for relatively cheap. Also, you can get a new power supply for about $20 on E-bay.
Also, make sure your computer-- and all major appliances-- have a surge protector on them, because this kind of stuff happens ALL THE TIME.

My HP desktop computer wont turn on, green light flashing in the back?

The green light flashing may indicate a damaged power source .. I suggest to check it or use another one just to see if the system boots up ..and after that order a new one only after you are sure this is the cause....when it plays dead .. the causes can be from the cpu .. or the cpu fan not working and this will keep it from boot .. or the motherboard itself .. even the ram memory must be checked but usually it starts and restarts in a loop when the ram is faulty .. and in other cases may have an amber light on the board.. so ..if there is no power the cause it is probably most likely the power source

Power light on computer flashes..tried the trouble shooting advice w no results. Bestec power supply model atx 250-12z. Unplugged computer to clean and now wont turn on..No fan no nothing..Just a green...

If you didn't accidentally unplug the four pin connector near the CPU, you need to replace the power supply. This is actually a fairly common occurrence with the cheap ATX power supplies being tossed into systems these days.

Ps3 wont turn on, the light turns green for a second then yellow then flashs red?

Your ps3 is broken. It's either the CPU or the GPU or both are damaged due to overheating. Bring your ps3 to a repair shop or to SONY for repair.

Dell flat screen started flashing, green light was blinking then screen went blank and green light is on. Tried unplugging etc...time for a new one?

No. It is not a Flat Screen issue. It is a CPU issue. You CPU is not sending signal to your flat screen so the green light is flashing. Try to:

1. Reset OR
2. Unplug the CPU case, Open the CPU, the interchange the RAM modules, OR
3. Same with step 2 but unplug and then plug back in all expansion cards like audio, video cards, etc.

It seems that your system needs discharging from a frozen state.

My cpu flash a green light in the back, and the pc wont cut on. took it to the shop and they disconnet the mother board and connet it back it work. i took it home and connet up my pc up and it wont cut on...

Since you brought it to the shop before. I would recommend you call them first and tell them it is not working once you brought it home and can you bring it back for them to test again. Also it is a good idea to turn on and off once or twice before taking it back to make sure it works

When i was going to play agame online the ps3 turned off and now wont turn back on the light go`s green then flashes yellow then flashes red.its a ps3 60gb

PS3 has overheated and the thermal compound between the cpu/gpu and heat sync need to be replaced. the gpu and cpu may need to be reflowed as well. Had the same problem and fixed mine. The thermal compound was pretty much gone when i opened up the system. Also dont keep your ps3 on its side leave it flat this will help keep the compound from moving as much.
