The lifecam seems to work ok until I want to do anything with it! If i try to record anything, it htis me with an error box, saying tha I dont have enough hard disk space, which I know full well I have!
If I try to capture through ULead 11, it records the audio great and the video at double speed!
I've tried going through all the settings and nothing seems to helping. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled a good few times now and no change!
PLEASE.. does anyone have a solution for this? I must be doing something wrong!
-   Exact same thing, despite having over 5 gig free...wtf?
I've uninstalled & reinstalled to no avail..what a pile of s**t...£50 wasted.
Looks like i'll be recording with my old Labtech AFTER ALL..

-   I've got the same problem, such that I can't record anything but get told I would be out of disk space ... did you find any solution to it?-   Guest
I figured out the problem!! You have to delete space on your Local Disk (C:) Drive. Very confusing because it says to free space on your hard drive. That's not correct. It's Local Disk (C:) Drive I hope it works for everybody who has to problem.

- I posted a solution earlier but I thought is was for lifecam vx1000 not vx3000. Why not try it anyway. I couldn't record until I freed up space on c local drive not c hard drive.
ok, i have a half a$$ solution, but it works for me when i NED to take a quick *picture*, use windows built in photo taking software with the lifecam, for me its in my computer, and i can capture photos, im still working on a solid solution, good luck bro.

Basically, my webcam is not working. I recently bought a Microsoft Lifecam VX-7000, and for the first week or so it worked perfectly. However, starting yesterday, it changed. I would plug in my webcam and it would accept it, and the icon for it would appear in "my computer." But whenever I tried to video chat with someone, on aim it would say there was no camera. On other programs it would appear as all black with a small line of gray static on the bottom. When I go to my computer and click the preview, it works perfectly. So there is a connection to the computer, but it won't work when I use it on any application.
