Inside Dsiplay Not Always on

The inside display that shows the temperature does is not always on. The fridge seems to be cooling and the inside lights come on - but only sometimes does the temperature display show.

Same this is happening on my 3-year old fridge. Sometimes when I open the door, the refrigerator and freezer temp displays are not on. Otherwise, things seem to be working well, but I'm concerned the thermostat is going to fail soon. This problem only recently started to occur (after 3 years.)

Most likely it is the Main Control Board also called the Motherboard. It is located on the rear of the unit behind the smaller axcess panel. Becareful with the wiring if you attempt to change the board. There is a slight possibilty that it is the dispay board, but it is unlikely.

It is best to consult your users manual first as controls are like humans nowadays. They are all different in programming features.
You may have set it for an illogical temperature or a component malfunction may have occurred and the alarms alerted you to that with an error code display. No error code =no malfunction and more than likely means a human error was made.

Our fridge temperature control is not working. its always high and all the things we keep inside gets spoiled like leaves and vegetables. pls help

Please get the thermostat switch/temperature control switch replaced by a Samsung technician. Also check the cooling gas. If it is less then no proper cooling will be done. This could be the possible cause.

I have my Emerson FR966T wine coller set for 60 degrees, but my cooler never seems to get the high. It always hovers around 58-59. When I heat my house up (never above 68) my cooler seems to warm up to...

Yes, because the fridge is a heat exchanger. The trade off for cooling the inside is a condenser coil on the outside which is warm. If you raise the temperature on the outside it will affect the inside a little. Having said that, the thermostat should keep the temperature within specifications. If you have it set for 60 and it is 58 or 59, to me it is within spec. The difference in 2 or 3 degrees Fahrenheit is tiny.

Also it should be pointed out this is a $63 cooler from Walmart. If you want a good one for storing thousand dollar bottles of Chateau Margeaux, you need a $600 wine cooler with a solid state digital thermostat and controls that talks to your smartphone when the temperature is one degree off..
