No heat in dryer. Exhaust vent is clear

Removed cover and the pilot is not lit and of course there is no flame. I even tried lighting with open flame. Mod#NDG5800AWW. Have a propane conversion kit installed and we have propane. Dryer is 5 years old and just stopped heating.

The line to the pilot leaks out propane right before the pilot burner.

Even the smallest pressure drop caused by this "leak" would prevent the pilot from igniting. If the pilot remains lit you may be confusing the leak with the gas control valve opening. The valve opens a few seconds before the igniter ignites the gas to create a flame. This is normal. If you have a gas grille you would know that you need the gas valves open to start a flame. Unfortunately, they have no safety mechanisms like a flame safety sensor that would be typical to indoor gas appliances.

I have a Mr Heater infra red propane wall heater. My problem is it turns itself off (pilot light) after running for an hour or two. I have no problem getting it turned back on but for some reason it d

Your pilot flame should be blue with a small yellow tip, and it should cover the thermocouple (a small rod in front of the pilot light). If the flame is too small and doesn't cover the thermocouple, it may be adjusted too low, or you have low gas pressure or you have a leak in your gas line coming in to the heater. If the flame looks like a lazy yellow flame, you are probably not getting enough air to the flame. Check that your air openings around the pilot are not clogged up. If the flame looks like a waving blue flame then you probably have excessive draft at the pilot. If the pilot flame looks good and covers the thermocouple, then the thermocouple might be bad. Best of luck. I hope I have helped.

Pilot won't stay on

Burners don't have anything to do with the problem of pilot not lighting. Is the problem that flame will not 'stay' lit? Or you can't even get a flame to ignite? If former: possible bad pilot generator or bad gas valve. If latter, possible bad gas valve or no fuel to ignite.

Coleman model# 2430-730

It is an old one, Propane? or gasoline/camp stove fuel?

If propane and will not remain lit- replace the thremocouple- that thing beside the pilot flame that does not seem to do anything- it holds the gas valve open when flame is present.

If gasoline/camp stove fuel and will not light or does not stay lit- clean the "generator" which is under the asbestos shell. It is not even acknowledged by Coleman anymore.

Have Model CGP30TB Copmfort Glow propane heater. Pilot light won't stay lit. Flames also coming from what seem to be air vents just below flame on pilot light.

sounds like an obstruction in pilot assembly.try using canned compressed air to blow directly into pilot. this technique is successful about 70%. if not, pilot assembly must be removed and cleaned thorougly

Kirkland outdoor heater will not stay lit

The thermocouple is bad. That is the part right next to the pilot light that sense's the flame and hold the gas valve open to the pilot. Take the old thermocouple off and go to hard ware store and get a 18" one of what ever length you need and replace. 5 dollar part.
