What is the correct fuel/oil mixture for an older Eager ****** 16 inch chain saw?

It really depends on the model number of your Eager Beav er unit. Anything within the last 6 years is 50 to 1 older models can be anywhere from 25 to 1, to 32 - 1 up to 40 - 1. t all depends on the model number.

The usual fuel mixture is 40 - 1 or 3.2 oz. per gallon.

Your chain saw would have to be pre-1995 to use a mixture greater than 40-1. If your chain saw is other than that then use a 32 - 1 ratio. 4.oz per gal.

This is a great fuel mixture calculator:

If you know your model number you can use this page to get an owners / operators manual:

I bought a reconditioned Poulan pro PP4629AVX and I can't find a manual for it. What is the oil to gas mixture? Thanks Steve

The fuel-oil mixture ratio for all Poulan two-cycle products is 40:1. You can obtain this ratio by mixing 3.2 oz. of oil with one gallon of regular gas.

What is the oil mixture for husqvarna chain model 235

50:1 fuel to oil ratio is correct for this saw. Be sure to use modern synthetic saw oil, not a petroleum product like outboard motor oil. Premix the fuel and oil in it's own can, and shake thoroughly just before filling the saw each time. With these modern fuel/oil ratios, serious engine damage can occur if not thoroughly mixed each time. Hope this helps!

Do not know what mixture or how to use

40:1 mixture for the fuel:oil ratio.16:1 will cause your saw to barely run(if at all) and if it does, will fog out every mosquito for 4 blocks. You can use any reputable 2-stroke oil, though stay away from outboard engine oil. Get the good stuff that says Stihl, or Husquavarnah, or something like that. Even the Homelite stuff is ok. The oil tank takes regular bar and chain oil.

Ive just bought a husqvarna 34 husky is this the model number 34? its serial number is 016810 but i cannot find details of it anywhere an want a manual can you tell me mixture also its my first chainsaw,...

Get Chain lube for the chain oiler. Naturally, husqvarna recommends that you use "genuine husqvarna" oil for your mixture, I recommend a quality oil, doesn't have to be husky. Husqvarna recommends a 50:1 ratio, other manufacturers, of vertually all 2 cycle power equiptment use a 40:1 ratio. This mixture is slightly richer, but will not hurt your chainsaw. May produce a bit more smoke. Not sure what a 34 husky is...neither is Husqvarna, I visited the website and even tried to download a manual. Looked at every husky model, no 34.

I would like the fuel mixture for my poulan chain saw. %oil,%fuel

If you don't know the model, then go with a 35:1 or 40:1 ratio. 40:1 seems common on most smaller saws from Ryobi and Poulan is a relation to those. The 35:1 suggestion is just for a little buffer in case. Generally it is ok to run a richer oil mix. It just means you may have to change spark plugs more often, however, your combustion chambers will be better lubricated and probably last longer!

Sometimes there is a little sticker or marking on the fuel tank cap or somewhere near it that indicates advisable oil:fuel ratio... Have a close look, it may be indicated somewhere on the saw itself.
