That particular project may be corrupt. if others load and that one doesn't it is probably corrupted. you can in that case, delete it via usb
connected to your computer. if it won't delete from the MV then it pretty odds on corrupted. take a little care when deleting from comp

Try checking the disk drive and CD drive connectors on the main circuit board, see if there are any bent, dirty or desoldered pins.
That's one thing you can do, and it may either help or not, but many machines that use disk/CD/floppy drives show an error message if there is a connection problem so i guess it's at least worth checking it.
