My card is corrupted

Hello,

insert the card into a memory card reader and insert it into our computer's USB port. The computer will recognize and install the card reader.

After that, go to Start > My computer. You will find a drive representing the memory card reader. The drive might be E:, F;, or G;.

Right click on the drive, scroll to format, and allow the card be formatted.

Once it has successfully been formatted, it should be in order again.

Note that all the files on the card would be erased. There is even no point keeping such files because it mush have bee corrupted as well, since it is still in the card.

Good luck.

I am trying to use the SanDisk card reader for a micro sd card, but when I plug the reader into my computer, it is unable to install the driver.

if you are referring to a media card reader which you connect to a computer, it should not prompt for a driver, but the system usually will recognize it. Try to test it on another USB port and make sure the BIOS and or Chipset drivers of your system are updated.

Yes, you will need an adapter unless you have a card reader that accepts that specific type of card.

My sandisk m2 does not get regognised on my mobile phone.

You need to isolate the problem. Try connecting the Sandisk M2 into another phone or computer (using an adapter). If this memory card is detected by other phone or computer, then you may want to insert another memory card into the problem phone to test it.

If the problem phone works using another memory card, but the problem memory card also works using another phone, then you may want to format first your Sandisk M2 before using it.

Have a great day!
