Arm stuck in middle of turntable won't move forward or return to rest

if the arm is automated and someone forced it to move, it could be that a gear is jammed. Open the unit to access the mechanical mechanisms and look for any stuck gears or pieces, turn on the unit and see that the motor is attempting to respond.

Emerson NR 303TT Table only turns when the tone arm is in one spot

There is a mechanical switch inside the unit. You will have to open her up and reposition the switch.

PHONO PREamp. Does that suggest anything?

No picture necessary. YOU can see it. I can visualize.

Turntable to the Pre-amp IN. Preamp OUT to ANY available RCA input (usually AUX,).

Connected to turn table. having sound problem. At 99, sound hardly audible.

The bose as most all in one systems do not have an inbuilt phono stage. Phono especially MM type have a very low signal and an eq curve that gets altered in the phono stage. Without a phono stage (known as a phon pre amp) you will not get much fun from your turntable. To connect : turntable out - into phono preamp - phono pre amp out into bose line in/aux in

Turntable will not rotate when in "Phono" mode

I recently was given my Father's CR78CD and, assuming your unit is in working order, you turn on the turntable motor by lifting the tonearm off the post and moving it away from the turntable about one and a half to two inches. You should hear a soft click as the switch for the motor activates.

My sony cdp-cx300 when i turn it on i can hear the motor but the cd turn table doesn't spen and after a min. the digital read out says table error

It would have an error because the table wont turn. If you open it up, you will find that the rubber belt that drives the turntable is broken or worn out. It connects the turn table to the motor.

I have a new Yamaha RX-V365 receiver and an older technics turntable, regardless of input setup I cannot get any volume from the turntable, yet all other inputs like CD, Tuner are fine....amp issues in...

Some turn tables do not have a built in amp, especially the older ones, the sound goes from the needle to the output. If the amp your are using does not have a designated phono, turn table, input it may not have the turn table pre-amp built in. Some turn tables have to be grounded to the amp to work properly.

Hoe do operate the turn table

Lift the arm off the stand and manually move it to the center of the player. You should hear a click and the turntable will begin spinning. To turn it off move the arm to the outside until you hear a click.

Turn Tble will not turn.

open up the top (where the record player is). Take off the pad, then remove the little c-clip surrounding the metal peg (in the center). Remove the turn table. Check underneath to see if the strap/belt is rather broken or has slipped off. If it broke, you have to go buy a new one. If it slipped off, put it back on. Put one end of the belt around the white plastic peg (the one that turns) and then the rest goes around the first outer ring on the bottom of the turn table (the middle one, between the outer edge and the middle insertion area. Its a real pain in the **** to do because it slips off a lot the first couple times...but you will get it eventually :) Once that is done put the table back on, test it, if it works put the c-clip back on (which is a lot harder than taking it off if I do say so myself lol) Put the rubber cover back on and Voila! You have a working turn table. For those with a broken belt use this as a replacement guide :)

Good luck guys and enjoy some good ol' Vinyl cause they are making a comeback!
