Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Digital Camera
Everytime I power on my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200, I get a message to "Turn the power on and off and on again." When i do this, I get the same message again. I tried the reset button but all it did was reset the time and date.
The internals to the lens assembly is at fault and only a micro repair
can fix it, sometimes it the pins that allows the lens to move are off
track. sometimes its the focal motor within the lens. all are motor
gear driven and stick randomly.
not worth fixin due to the falling prices.

"Press the RESET button using a pointed object, then turn on the power (reset).
All the settings including date and time are cleared."
This should reset your camera. If you have any additional question, please reply back and I'll be happy to assist.
