My Fisher & Paykel double dishwasher won't drain completely

It may be a blocked hose. First point to check is under the sink where the thin corrugated drain hose joins the sink drain. If it is a double dish drawer there will be two hoses, one black and one white. The black hose is usually from the top drawer. They are held on by spring clamps.
If this is not the problem, post again.

I bought a new kitchen sink and pipes with a garbage disposal. Over night the smell in the garbage disposal is like rotten eggs! How can I make it smell good?

Use hydrogen peroxide and/ white vinegar to safely deodorize disposal.
Clean out drain line under sink, and bottom of disposal under cutter blade.
Copy following link for clogged disposal, and drain line tips.

Hello, my dishwasher doesn't drain

hi,
check for a stuck float inside corner, there may be a cover over newer models, its a round white thing in the front corner, it should move up and down and click once you get the cover off. if thats not it next to the sink is the aerator, pull the chrome cover straight up and off and unscrew the inner white part and look down in there. if that still doesent do it, have to go under the sink and undo the black or clear drain hose coming from the dishwasher into a bucket and study where its clogged under the sink. if its not that then it may be inside the trap inside the drain in the dishwasher, take the bottom rack out, undo the wash arm, unscrew the drain cover, undo the next drain cover, (theres usually 2) and then down in there may be the obstruction. shut the power off if you go digging into the pump of the dishwasher.
good luck

Switch connections

I have a Jenn-air, and the switch for blower and light is on top, front. the switch has 4 connections on the bottom, and viewed from the bottom, the white wire goes at 12 o'clock, the red and brown wires are in the top left corner (paired with the white one) and the black wire is at 6 o'clock, and the blue (double wires) goes in the lower right corner (paired with the black one). If you have a continuity tester, the switch is a dpdt, and white is connected to red-brown (double wires) OR black is connected to blue-blue( double wire).

Hope this helps.

Black stuff in the bottom of the dishwasher

That black or gray stuff you're talking about is actually a combination of old food particles and soap deposits. The stuff builds up in the corners of the lower front areas of the tub and right under the inside of the door where it closes over the tub front. These areas can develop "scungy" deposits because these are areas that the dishwasher doesn't always clean and/or water remains pooled. A little routine cleaning about once a week around the bottom lip of the door and the door gasket with a damp sponge will prevent this build up. Hope this helps you.
