Save the PBP file to:

PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP

After that, you should be able to run the update from the Game section of the XMB.

I would usually need a bit more detail to solve this, but if you have downloaded the update file from the Web onto your computer then simply put the file into the folder on your PSP, lcoated at X:\PSP\GAME, where X:\ is the drive Windows gives your PSP. Then, disconnect, start up the PSP, scroll over to [Game] then to [Memory Stick], then choose the System Software Update that should be there. If you haven't downloaded the update, there are a couple of things you can do. You can go to playstation.com, download the update, and do the above steps. Or, if you have a Wi-Fi connection at home or somewhere with the internet, just fire up the PSP go to [Settings], then to [Network Update] at the top and donwload and install the software like that. Hope this helps...

Memory disk not inserted cant play psp

Please click the link below to be taken to the official Playstation PSP / PSPGo memory stick center. It will show you where the memory card goes on their devices.
PSP / PSPGO Memory Stick Center

Once you find out where the memory stick is on your son's system, I would take it out and reinsert it several times. This has happened to me before and I had to remove/reinsert a few times for it to "find the right position". As a last resort, I would format the memory card and see if that helps. The steps to format on on that link as well. Worst case scenario is the memory stick has gone bad, but you can pick up a replacement for under $10.00 US. Hope this helps.

How to download for psp games

1
  • Download desired game from an Internet game site onto your computer.
  • 2 Connect the PSP to the computer using the USB cable. The memory stick needs to be in the console at the time of connection.
  • 3 Copy the downloaded game files into the PSP game path on the removable drive. This puts the downloaded game onto the PSP memory stick.
  • 4 Disconnect the PSP from the computer once the game has been fully transferred.
  • 5 Look in the PSP main menu from the game folder. Scroll to "Game" and select the memory stick option. Press the "X" button to display the list of available games.
  • 6 Select the downloaded game and begin playing.

PSP doesnt recognize the memory pro dua ? what do I do to fix

    Hi
Is your memory stick detected by your PSP? If not, then there something wrong with the memory. Try out to insert it to other unit to be sure it will works, if it works then the problem is in memory socket. Try to clean it by using a used toothbrush with isoprophyl alcohol, and let it dry then put it back.
    Hope it may helps...

Not able to copy movies on Sony 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for PSP

Before you go throwing any old video file onto your PSP, make sure you have the following items:
    • The PSP. This is self-explanatory.
    • The .MP4 video files.
    • Video conversion software to convert non-MP4 files to MP4, the format the PSP reads.

Can i play eboot.pbp on psp?

yes you can if you have a custom firmware. the psp will not recognize the eboot file itself unless you put the eboot file inside of a folder with the name of the game as the folder name. then you save it to psp/game. iso and cso files are placed in the iso folder of the root.

Cannot play copied games in psp's memory stick after updating

    Hi Aneeshameeda

I think the best solution is to downgrade your PSP system software to the original version and check if your games load. What might have happened is that the firmware software that was on the PSP was downgraded to play copied games, and now you've changed the firmware to a newer version and that is why your games won't load. You might hac=ve to get your PSP downgraded again to play the games from your memory card.
