Hello, Teresa -
If you have not yet contacted the previous home owner and asked for the remote control/s for your garage door opener, do so.
Otherwise, there may be a business card, stuck in behind the garage door opener button on the garage wall, which advertises the garage door repair company which previously serviced the garage door. If so, call that company and ask to purchase the proper replacement garage door remote control/s for your garage door.
If there is no garage door repair business card, then use Yelp
( https://www.yelp.com/
- garage door repair) or Yellow Pages
( https://www.yellowpages.com/
- garage door repair) to find a local business, contact that business, and ask to purchase a replacement garage door remote control.
Best wishes.
SOURCE: need to match DIP switchs on a universal garage door remote
I find Clicker products confusing. Might want to buy whole new replacement readio control set. how old is operator?
Take the opener apart and see if there are about 4 numbers that can be set. If you have an older remote take it apart and match the numbers, then program it.
1) test the batteries 2) rETIGHT THE spring contact batteries 3) Resolder wires for contact batteries, see if there are some wires missing. 4) Try again with the codes.
go www. fitness.manualsonline.com get the code , and reset again.
Otherwise the remote control you must go to the repair shop.
God bless you
