Re: my mouse dose not move

There is a connect button under the mouse.
and there is a button on the reciever. Please press both the buttons together for 2 minutes and after this it is supposed to work. However if it is not working replace the battries and do this sync process again.

If still not working contact kensington support they will replace for you.

Re: my mouse dose not move

For me solution was new mouse batteries. Even though mouse lights were on, and mouse wheel could still scroll the screen, there was not enough juice in the batteries to move the cursor.

Mouse come on and dose notthing when i plug it in the usb slot

Geoff: Only Wireless mice require batteries: If your Mouse is directly attached to the computer with a cord to the USB port, go to the Device Control Manager (open Control Panel on the operating system) look for input devices> Keyboard, Mice and other controlling devices: Right click and look at the PRORTIES to see if the hardware is connected and up-to-date. Update the Drivers if you can. If a delta icon with an exclamation mark appears, this means there is connection problem between the mouse/keyboard. If the USB connection works for other devices you plug into the USB port, then the problem is the mouse and not the computer.

Onn wrieless mouse is not working

Try replacing the batteries in the mouse. Sometimes the light will still come out of the bottom of the mouse - but the wireless signal is no good.

Also - after you replace the batteries in the mouse, click the sync button on the USB part that plugs into your computer, and then immediatly click the sync button on the bottom of the mouse.

That should do it!

My mouse keeps on skipping clicks, I don't know why. The wireless connection seems to be in order and everything else seems fine.

Did you try changing the batteries? If so, try unplugging the mouse receiver and plugging it back in. If that doesn't do anything, how long have you used the mouse? My mouse skips clicks because of my normal use over the years. Might just be the wear and tear to the little clicker button, but try changing batteries.

I puchased a GE Optical Mouse with a USB connection (98529). After I plugged it in, I got the new hardware detected message, but it said "unknown device". The cursor would not move to allow any other...

You need to install the drivers that came with this GE optical mouse so that windows can properly install and identify the new mouse. Pop the driver cd that came with the new mouse into the cd drive and follow the instructions. If you need more help, let me know ok?

My mouse is plugged in, but is not moving?

There can only be 2 ways. Either receiver button first and then one under mouse or visa versa.

My wireless dell mouse isnt working I changed the batteries and still the cursor isnt moving?

there is usually some sort of connect button on both the mouse and then receiver unit that is plugged into the computer, sometimes you have to hold down the connect buttons on each unit simultaneously so that they will connect, i dont know if you have done this or not, otherwise it is always possible that you have a bad mouse, if this is one of those usb wireless mice try moving the usb receiver to a different port and let windows reinitialize it

There's also a connect button on the USB connector. Plug the connector in and press the connect button underneath until the light flashes. Release the button and click the connect button on the mouse until the USB light is steady.
