Omron BP71on reading Er24 and mot pumping the arm band

Omron error E1 means that the air is leaking from the cuff or the hose or the air hose is not plugged in correctly. First pull the hose out and insert it again. If the error persists find out about replacing the cuff.

They are really easy to use. Make sure it has good batteries, put cuff on arm above elbow with tube facing up, press start and remain still. Cuff will inflate and air will slowly release while reading, and then release completely when done and show reading.

The Tube from the ArmBand to the main unit may be getting twisted when you put it on the other arm. See instructions.

My Omron only goes up to about 165 only takes about 1/2 the time it takes to get a reading from my Samsung. For my Samsung, I use a couple of velcro straps (can buy them at electronic dept's and they sold as wire-cord wraps), and I place them so they go across the seem of the arm band and keep it tight as the BP pressure goes over 215. This solution for me is the only way I can get this machine to perform consistently. It still runs about 10 higher than my Omron, but it is consistent - and now no longer gives me "Err-1" messages. BTW - I've got an order in for the "Advocate Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor" and I'll be happy to post how it works after I receive it.

fit new batteries , check hose hose for leaks, fit it firmly around arm with hose on inside of arm near elbow joint
