Check to make sure the needle is installed correctly. There is a front and back to the needle. If that isn't the problem, you'll need to take it for service.

SOURCE: sewing with walking foot

Take the needle out and run the machine for a while with the walking foot fitted. Refit the needle and try again but only turn the machine over by hand to see if the problem has cleared. If no luck it sounds like the walking foot timing needs adjusting.

SOURCE: someone gave me a babylock ellageo esg, serial number C11119415 sewing machine, but, it doesnt have the embroidery arm / foot or hoops where can i purchase these / mostly the arm for the unit

Recommend you type "Babylock ellageo esg" into the search engine of your computer, and you should find someone, especially a dealer, to help you find the parts you need.
God bless your efforts.

My baby lock ellageo will not read the pes files I create in embrilliance but will read the dst files I create. HELP!

In the embrilliance software check the hoops size. Dst files do not save hoop size in the DST parameters but pes files do. If the hoop is not one that the Ellageo supports it will not read the pes..

Hope this solves it.

Walking Foot Trouble

sounds to me like you are getting what I call "flagging" of the material... where a tiny bur or something catches the material and pulls it up. If possible increase the presser a bit on the presser foot. You might also have the wrong foot for the machine or simply a defective one.

Also when it does this... do you notice any bobbin thread on top of the seam?

Baby Lock Ellageo will not work. Says to "Lower the presser foot" but it is lowered.

did you have this problem before the tune up or after?
it sounds like part of the computer is malfunctioning

My needle on my Esante seems to be hitting something the skipping stitches. I have changed needles, rethreaded, changed plates, and changed feet. Thanks

Did you thread the machine with the presser foot up? Is the needle inserted with the flat side to the back of the machine?

If so, and the problem has not changed, check the bobbin case to be sure it is correctly placed into the race. Leave the needle plate off as you hand walk the needle down. If it hits the case, it is not in place.

All the above has been done and problem continues, take the machine in for service as the timing may need adjusting and is a process best done my an authorized Brother dealer.
