Question about Dell Dimension 5150 (DIM515MIN) PC Desktop
I removed the Panasonic CR2032 battery from the motherboard based on a suggestion from another individual. Shorted it and then reinstalled it. System loses date and time, but then allows computer to boot up. I normally leave the computer on all the time now. I cannot believe based on all the similar problems with the Dell Dimension 5150 that Dell refuses to help individuals, provide a fix for the problem, or recall the computer.
I would change the battery first of all. this is the reason for losing date and time
