The latch of the glove compartment broke. Can't open the compartment

If you look under glove box you will see two to four screws that hold the glove box on. Take out the screws and the glove box will drop down and you can get inside and release latch..then you can get a replacement latch and replace.

Shifter release latch broke

They call it the little pink thing. Inside the shifter box there is a little pink spring loaded lever. The arm breaks and locks out the shifter. Easy enough to get to. I drilled small hole in the lever close to where it broke off and put a small piece of a paperclip in it and reattached the spring. My brother who had had the problem earlier paid about 275.00 dlrs to get his fixed. It cost me about two hours and half a paperclip. works better and guaranteed to last forever. This has been a very consistent problem with Chrysler and they will not recall it. We can make it better. We have the technology.

Battery button broke

Well, you might try a jeweler to do the tiny work inside your camera. The other place, besides the Factory, would be a Camera repair place. Look in your local phonebook.

How do I remove the memory card from my Lumix 8x Vancouver 2010 camera?

The card is in the battery compartment. On the bottom of the camera, slide the release lever in the direction of the arrow and open the battery/card door. To remove the card, push the card until it clicks, then pull the card out upright. Hope this helps.

How to reset

Hello, Just remove the batteries. Also the batteries should be alkaline batteries. Not lithium, Ni-Cd, Mercury etc. Now, I'm giving you a little trick that I learn over many years work with electronics. Take piece of wire and make sure the batteries are remove. Take piece of tape and tape one end of the wire to the positive side (+), all it will be is little shinny plate. Now take the other end of the wire and tape it to the shinny spring this the negative side(-). Rember, there are two "AA" or "AAA" batteries.

The wire goes from + of 1st battery end in the battery compartment to negative side (-) of the second battery spring (-). Rember!! NO BATTERIES, while you are doing this operation. Let the wire stay on the battery terminal in the battery compartment for 5 minutes or so. What is does if the electrolytic capacitor is holding and want drop the current which switch is turn off, it will now.

I have a broken battery holder that I am going to try and replace

Hey, if you want to DIY, the $1.00 BATTERY HOLDER is not the right part you wanted. The little thing doesn't come separate. What you need is called BATTERY FRAME. The tiny battery lock and spring are included in the Battery Frame.
To replace the BATTERY FRAME maybe not easy. My suggestion is take the battery lock from the new Battery Frame to replace the broken one.

HP Photosmart R927 Battery Compartment door latch

Same problem, The small plastic tab that extends into the slot to keep the battery compartment door broke off. I can't locate a source for replacement part. I disassembled the slide and reversed it, breaking off the little tip that fit into spring, and it sort of works, but a new plastic slide would be much better.
