Toro weed eater gasline problems

Can't get gas to my toro weedeater. Replaced gas lines (all three) and bulb was replaced last year (don't see any cracks / holes). But bulb seems to be blowing into tank instead of sucking. Any suggestions?

The bulb should have two fittings. When you depress the bulb, air should **** in on one fitting and air should be expelled out the other. You may have the line from the tank on the wrong fitting. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Why won't my McColluch weed eater create a vacuum

Did you check the muffler exhaust or spark arrester, to see if it is clogged from using to rich a oil/gas mixture ? Did you replace the diaphragm in correct position ? Find a new carb online, possibly ebay ?

Homelite weed trimmer bogs down and smothers out quits running

This could be a number of things. Clogged air filter/fuel filter/carburetor/fuel tank lid breather hole, cracked fuel line or primer bulb, or clogged spark arrestor in muffler. Here's some links that will help to change the bulb, fuel cap, fuel lines, rebuild carb, replace spark arrestor, and troubleshoot.

Repair weed eater

If you see gas in the primer bulb it is pulling in gas to the bulb. If not check for cracks in the bulb assembly and check to see if the fuel lines are not off their fittings and not cracked.

My weed eater (toro), won't let me pull the cord at all. This weed eater doesn't take oil I don't think.

All internal combustion engines use oil of some description. I take it this is a 2 cycle engine and you have not added oil to the gas. If this is the case the engine is locked up, and must be replaced. Sorry.

Need gasline size

The best way to get the correct size lines is to take a piece of the old lines to your local outdoor power & equipment store, or sometimes your local auto parts store will carry them, and let them match them up. You may have two different size lines, so make sure to get pieces of both.
